Rob
Lipschutz
Chief Executive Officer
As a co-founder and CEO for SiteScout, Rob
oversees company strategy, sales, and execution. Immediately prior, he
worked at Cascadia Labs. He served as director of technology at Viant,
CTO and founder at Meca Communications, and president and CTO of Thing
7. And between 1992 and 1996, Robert directed networking testing and
analysis at PC Magazine. An expert with more than
15 years experience evaluating and building technology
products for consumers and enterprises, his consulting clients have
included Kinko's, Bank of America, JP Morgan, and Microsoft. Robert has
in-depth experience with anti-virus, anti-spyware, host intrusion
prevention, firewall, and Web filtering technologies. He holds a B.S.
in Chemistry with Honors from the University of California, Berkeley.
John Clyman
Chief Technology Officer
In his role as CTO, John leads development
of SiteScout's system for performing scalable, automated website
contamination assessment. Immediately prior to co-founding SiteScout,
he worked with Robert at Cascadia Labs, where he built internal tools
used for building malware and URL filtering databases and for assessing
websites. These technologies were transferred to SiteScout at its
inception. For over 14 years, John has performed and overseen critical
product assessments for leading technology companies, venture-capital
firms, publications, and e-commerce operations. Since 2004, he has
intensively examined malware mitigation techniques and products. He
holds a B.A. in Psychology from Cornell University.
John Blackburn
VP of Business Development
With 21 years of successful sales and
business development experience, John will drive SiteScout's business
relationships with key software, hardware, and services vendors. Most
recently, John managed technology alliances at Aventail Corporation
where he negotiated OEM contracts and established key technology
partnerships with companies such as Motorola, Palm, Microsoft,
Symantec, and Phoenix Technologies. Prior to Aventail, John drove OEM
licensing activity and managed partner relationships at Widevine
Technologies and F5 Networks. John also held senior asset management
positions with various national real estate development and management
firms where he conducted over $200 million worth of transactions. He
holds an MBA from the University of Southern California and a B.S. in
Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
